As a licensed therapist trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I help clients gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Whether you’re managing constant anxiety, coping with the loss of a loved one, or trying to make sense of painful past experiences, I provide a safe space to slow down and listen to what your inner world is asking for.
Anxiety therapy can help you shift out of survival mode and into a place of calm clarity. Grief therapy honors the complexity of loss—including losses that feel invisible or complicated. Trauma therapy helps you safely access and heal from painful experiences without retraumatizing yourself.

I’m Cynthia Valentine, LMFT, and I’m licensed in your beautiful State of Michigan. I live in California full-time, but this means that I am available for evening sessions. Yes, you heard that right!
5pm, 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm Eastern Time, is available in Michigan via Telehealth with me.
I know this will help when your schedule gets busy, or maybe you’re more of a night owl, and talking about your emotions is just harder to do at the top of the day.
